Steve has worked in the electricity industry since 1974. Starting his career as a technical staff trainee and then a senior authorised distribution engineer, he progressed through to a First Engineer design role before moving into commercial roles in gas trading in the early days of competition in energy supply. He joined Baineport as Commercial Director in 2001 and remained with them after the Freedom acquisition in 2006 until 2015. Steve held Director level roles in Freedom first running the Major Projects division before becoming Business Development Director in 2012. Steve re-joined his old colleagues at Stormport in 2016 as Business Development Director to instigate the ICP operation and grow the business in a controlled way, ensuring existing customers receive a great service. On acquisition by Ipsum in April 2019 Steve was promoted to Managing Director.
Pete is our Operations Director and helped set up Stormport with founder Steve Wright in 2009.
